DIY tassel Garland for Room decor

Sometimes you may get last minute guests or last minute party plans at your home.A common friend coming to your friends house nearby and you came to know that in the last minute and you wanted to invite them to your house and give party.Isn't it a common thing that happens in everyday life?Yes!!It happens !!If you want your house to be perfect for the party before the guests come ,here is a simple idea to do it.All you need is some simple things and an hour.If you have a helping hand(May be your husband or kids ??) then it is all done within half an hour.Shall we move to the supplies list??

Materials required :
Tissue paper with different colours
Twine
Scissors
Stapler and staples.

I used 5 colours (including gold) and 4 sheets in each colour to decorate a big room.

Step 1: Tissue papers comes in a sheets of 4 per colour.Use the bunch as such till step 3.Cut the bunch of tissue paper into half by folding it in the center.

Step 2: Use one half of the bunch .Fold them again into half and make slits leaving an inch at the top.I made 6 slits for one bunch.(If you want a bulky tassel you can make many slits).

Step 3: Now you can make 4 tassels in each bunch of cut tissue papers.Separate a single paper from the bunch, open them and fold it at the center as shown.

Step 4 : Keep the twine at the center and staple it to make a tassel.Continue this with different colours and  patterns according to the theme.4th of july is coming up , so you can use red ,blue and white papers to create the same garland and decorate your party space. You can also create a photo booth back drop by displaying them in a zig zag manner against single wall. How simple is this to decorate your home ??Yay!!!Now you are ready to celebrate !!

BONUS :Having some empty space around??Thinking of what to do ??Use washi tape/Masking tape to create interesting patterns that goes with the theme .Here are the samples for you.Or you can even make a gallery wall with family photos using washi tape to cover the empty walls.(What??Photos with washi tape??Click here) Will it not be an interesting one for your guests to look into??

Have you made any last minute decoration at your home ?? How did you do that ??Share with us in the comments below.Feel free to share what you think of these ideas in the comments below ,I am always happy to hear from you.

  2. Your blog is very informative. Eating mindfully has been very hard for people these days. It's all because of their busy schedules, work or lack of focus on themselves. As a student I must admit that I have not been eating mindfully but because of this I will start now. It could help me enjoy my food and time alone. Eating mindfully may help me be aware of healthy food and appreciating food.วอลเปเปอร์ลายต้นโพธิ์

  5. This DIY tassel garland is a quick and easy way to add a festive touch to your home for a party. It's customizable based on your party's color scheme or theme, and can be easily improvised. The use of washi tape for creating patterns or a gallery wall with family photos adds a festive touch. For last-minute decorations, consider adding a touch of sparkle with metallic or glitter tissue paper, repurposing everyday items like mason jars filled with fairy lights, and using washi tape to create patterns. These creative ways to use everyday objects can turn everyday objects into stunning accents for entertaining guests. Sharing these tips and DIY projects can make your spaces inviting and festive, especially when time is limited. abogado lesiones personales virginia
